If you enjoy having a a beer ever so often, leave your money out of the casino if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your purse, your money belt, and keep all cash, charge cards and checkbooks at home. Pack whatever cash you expect to use on refreshments, tipping and few dollars you expect to squander and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Not really. Just realistic. You could experience a success following a boozy night out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to hook a long roll at a hot craps table. Don’t forget that adventure because it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and wager. The two just do not mix.
Keeping your moola back at the hotel might be a bit excessive, but preventative measures for dramatic behavior is compulsory. If you gamble to succeed, then do not drink alcohol and play. If you like to burn your money nary a concern, then consume all the no charge beer your stomach are able to handle, but don’t carry plastic credit and checks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your bombed self squanders everything!
Allow me to take this 1 step more. Don’t drink and then hop on to the internet to wager in your favorite internet casino either. I enjoy a beer from the coziness of my condominium, but due to the fact that I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards in close proximity, I can’t consume alcohol and gamble.
How come? Although I do not drink to excess, once I drink, it’s clearly adequate to cloud my judgment. I bet, so I don’t consume alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t bet when you do. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and costly, cocktail.
