Being Taught From My Wagering Blunders

[ English ]

First to clarify the reason I wrote this essay. I have been gambling on the web or at land-based casinos for many years. I have learned, the fixation can take a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up until you are penniless. Particularly if you’re on a winning run. I have gone through many thousands of dollars in only a short amount of time and still on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It appears you’re just having a blast until you start to track your losses and the anguish sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can earn it back" repeatedly. It does not works. Then you feel sick in your belly and the more you try the faster you lose.

When you notice that you’re up, remain on the UP! When you begin to be beaten, do not say to yourself, "well perhaps one more" and over and over again, trust me, this plan hardly ever functions. Say you’re betting on slot games, have a bankroll put aside before starting your action. DO NOT exceed that boundary, regardless how captivating. If you actually succeed, put that in a separate canister. Do not risk your successes no matter what. As soon as you’ve gambled through your original set limit, bail out. Leave, regardless if it’s on the internet or at a brick and mortar betting house, do not stick around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be another day, another time.

Always remember, wagering is assumed to be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcannot manage the loss, do not even begin.
